ABOUT THIS PROGRAM
The La Mère Rose Student Entrepreneurship Program enters its professional phase during the 11th Grade year. Students begin combining advanced esthetics training with entrepreneurship, financial literacy, leadership, AI integration, and real-world business development.
This is a milestone year where eligible students age 17 and older begin accumulating official Maryland State Board esthetics hours under the supervision of Nyla Curtis, Licensed Master Esthetician. Students gain hands-on experience while developing the technical, professional, and business skills needed to prepare for licensure and future career opportunities.
Program Dates: August 2026 – June 2027
Format: 1 Day Online + 2 Days In-Person Per Week
Location: Prince George's County, MD
In-Person Training Hours: Approximately 300 Maryland State Board Hours
Supervision: Nyla Curtis, Licensed Master Esthetician

MARYLAND STATE BOARD HOURS
Students who are eligible at age 17 will begin officially accumulating hours toward Maryland's 600-hour esthetics licensing requirement.
Through weekly in-person training sessions throughout the school year, students will complete approximately 300 Maryland State Board hours under the supervision of Nyla Curtis, Licensed Master Esthetician. All hours are documented and maintained in accordance with Maryland Board of Cosmetologists requirements.
Students who successfully complete both the 11th and 12th Grade years will be positioned to meet Maryland's 600-hour esthetics training requirement and prepare for the state licensing process.
⚠ All fees are non-refundable. By enrolling, you agree to the La Mère Rose program terms. A full enrollment agreement will be sent for signature prior to the first session.
